WinCatalog Standard, by WinCatalog.com is a slick program for creating a catalog or catalogues. You can use it to catalog all your CDs or DVDs. In testing it out I did a whole batch of CDs in just a few minutes. Once you've processed a disk you won't need it again. WinCatalog Standard lets you find every file both quickly and easily. It works really well with just about any kind of media you can remove like CDs, DVDs, thumb drives, and the like.
Another cool feature of WinCatalog Standard is that it can even catalog files that are inside compressed files, like ZIP files. Slick. In playing around with it I also found that you can use the program to catalogue things like magazines or books.
So, it doesn't just work with files, but with anything that suits itself to a catalog. The program is intuitive and very easy-to-use making it perfect for users with all levels of experience. It supports drag and drop, can pull the tags from audio CDs, and lots more. If you've got things to catalog, this may be your solution
