Handy Backup Pro 1.1 provides professional quality data backup on a single computer or networks. The backup destination can be any type of storage media including CD-RW devices and remote FTP servers. Easy-to-use interface and powerful features make Handy Backup Pro the ideal backup solution for desktops, laptops, servers, and small networks.

The program is designed for Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP operating systems. It can be run as a service on NT-based systems (NT 4.0, 2000, XP). Running program as a service means that the program automatically makes a backup at the time needed even if no user is logged on.

Handy Backup Pro 1.1 will backup your files at any convenient time, restore files from a backup copy, or synchronize them between different locations. In addition, it maintains strong file encryption and multi-choice zip compression on the fly. All backup activities are recorded in a detailed log file.

Can run as a service on Windows NT/2000/XP
Handy Backup Pro 1.1 supports a single-user mode when running as a service. It means that only a single user on a computer can initiate running Handy Backup Pro agent as a service. After you switch Handy Backup Pro 1.1 to service mode, you can import configurations of other users to the service configuration. The return action is also possible: make Handy Backup Pro running as a process.

Flexible file and folder selection criteria
An intuitive and powerful wildcards and inclusion/exclusion rules to fine-tune your backup items. Now you can easily compose each backup item by adding as many folders and individual files as you need.

Activity log in RTF format
All backup activities are recorded in a log file available in RTF format.
The FTP connection log allows you to monitor connection to the remote FTP server.

Multi-threaded transfer engine
Optimized for blazing performance, Handy Backup Pro 1.1 multi-threaded transfer engine executes backups in the background with minimum system resource consumption.

Intuitive Explorer style user interface
You'll find Handy Backup Pro 1.1 extremely easy-to-use due to its simple Explorer-like user interface. Smart Setup Wizard and online help will guide you through all steps of creating and managing backup items.

Automatic replies
Execution of default actions without interaction with user, when the agent is running as a service, and Handy Backup Pro user interface is not connected.
