Cons: Only backup, not have other functions such as update, restore, and so on.

Benefits:
Freeware to identify all the hardware in the system, extract their associated drivers from the hard disk and backs them up to a location of your choice. Although it could easily and quickly backup the drivers, it could not save us much time when we want to restore them.

As we all known, the most important reason why we use these driver backup/restore programs is that it could save a lot of time and energy when we reinstall our operation system. Without their help, we may spend hours even a whole day to find the proper drivers for our hardware devices. This program is a free version, and it only offers us the backup function. So, if you’re familiar with the driver files and know where to arrange them, this program may save your money.

Besides lack of drivers restoration, drivers update and drivers removal are not provided as well. There is no Help file, but you could refer to Driver Magician’s, which offers all the function I have mentioned above and has some other features, while charged $29.95.

Set up:
The installation is easy and straightforward, and you could finish it in seconds just by following the prompts. No spyware as well as adware.
Click the Uninstall button, the entire program will be removed from your computer.

Interface:
The interface of this program is concise. Since it only could backup drivers, there are not many buttons to confuse the user. Click Backup, the program will do the rest things for you. So, a novice could operate it well, but to restore the drivers from the backup, you’re required to be a power user.

Pentium 166MHz or greater; Windows© 98, SE, ME, 2000, XP, 2003 or Vista; 32 MB of available RAM (64 MB recommended) plus 5 MB of available disk space for installation.

Conclusion:
If you really want to save your valuable time and energy, I suggest you to try some program with all functions – backup, restore and update the drivers. The most attractive feature of this program is that it is free, without that, nothing.
