The product is available for Linux platforms with kernel 2.2.x, 2.4.x (recommended) and glibc minimum 2.2.3. The packages are
self-extractive shell archives for rpm-based distributions (RedHat 7.x, 8.0, 9, RedHat Enterprise Linux AS/WS 3 Beta, SuSE 8.x,
Mandrake 8.x, 9.x) and binary tars for other Linux distributions (Slackware 8.x, 9.x, Gentoo 1.4, Debian 3, etc). BitDefender for
Sendmail is compiled and build with gcc 2.9x and gcc 3.x compilers.
