Importing Your Address Book into the Whitelist
Spam Shredder can import addresses from the Windows Address Book, which is the address book Outlook Express uses. If you want to make sure that Spam Shredder sends e-mail from every address in your address book to your inbox, you can import your address book into your whitelist. Spam Shredder will then ignore all messages from these addresses and send them directly to your inbox.
E-mail clients other than Outlook Express may use a different address book, one that is part of its own program. You cannot import these address books.
To import your Windows Address Book to your whitelist:
- Start Spam Shredder, if it is not already running, and display the main window.
- For more information, see Starting Spam Shredder.
- In the icon panel, click Whitelist.
- For information about the Spam Shredder window, see Understanding the Spam Shredder Window.
- Click Import Address Book.
