Entering Addresses Individually into the Whitelist

When Spam Shredder incorrectly categorizes e-mail from a sender whose e-mail you want, you should add that sender to your whitelist. Spam Shredder then lets e-mail from that address go to your inbox in your e-mail client. In essence, Spam Shredder ignores e-mail from addresses on your whitelist.

To add individual e-mail addresses to your whitelist:

Start Spam Shredder, if it is not already running, and display the main window.

In the icon panel, click Whitelist.
For information about the Spam Shredder window, see Understanding the Spam Shredder Window.
Click Add E-mail Address.
The Edit E-mail Address window displays.
Enter the address you want to add to your whitelist.
Enter the address in the format: login_name@domain_name (for example, tom@webroot.com).
Click OK.
To edit an address, select it and click Edit E-mail Address. To delete an address from the whitelist, select it and click Delete E-mail Address.
