Redetecting Outlook Express Accounts

When you first installed Spam Shredder, it detected your existing Outlook Express accounts and turned on spam protection automatically. If you later add accounts to or change the accounts in Outlook Express, Spam Shredder can redetect them and turn on spam protection.

To redetect Outlook Express Accounts:

Start Spam Shredder, if it is not already running, and display the main window.

In the icon panel, click E-mail Accounts.
For information about the Spam Shredder window, see Understanding the Spam Shredder Window.
Click Redetect Accounts.
Spam Shredder displays a window that shows each new account it detected. If you want Spam Shredder to protect these accounts, leave the accounts selected on the left side of the window.
Click OK.
The next time you receive mail from these new accounts, Spam Shredder will intercept spam e-mail and either place them in quarantine or delete them, depending on the options you select. For more information about Spam Shredder options, see Setting Spam Shredder Filtering Options.
