Optimize Windows Startup
Operation Mode
Overview of Optimize Windows Startup wizard
On the first screen of the Optimize Windows Startup wizard, select a mode.
Automatic Modes
With the automatic modes, System Mechanic uses default settings to search for startup items. The items it detects as unneeded are then automatically removed from startup.
The two automatic modes differ in what areas are searched. Click to see a list of the areas searched for Quick Optimization and Deep Optimization.
When you have made your selection, click Next to run the search and removal of unneeded startup items.
Custom Mode
For the custom mode, you define what areas to search. The items System Mechanic detects as unneeded are displayed, and then you designate which items you want to remove from startup.
Select Custom Optimization and then click Next to select search locations.
