Increase Performance > Defragment Hard Drive
To access:
From the I want to pane, click Increase Performance and then click Defragment Hard Drive.
What it does:
The Defragment Hard Drive wizard guides you through defragmenting selected hard drives with the settings you specify.
Why use it:
Defragmenting hard drives reorganizes scattered data, which boosts file access speed and extends the life of the drive. To maintain system performance and prevent data corruption, it is recommended that you periodically defragment your hard drive.

If you want System Mechanic to automatically defragment drives when drive fragmentation is detected as being high, select the Automatically repair drive fragmentation problems check box on the ActiveCare tab of the main Options window.
