Low Level Defrag (very slow)
Low level defrag is the most thorough defragment method. It creates free space at the end of the drive while it defragments files. This approach reduces the tendency for future fragmentation to occur and ensures that data remains defragmented for a longer time.
This level defragmentation can take a long time (up to two days in extreme cases) depending on the fragmentation of the drive and the speed of your PC. It takes significantly more time than the Optimized Defrag option.
