After running an analysis on the Advanced Defrag Options window, you can click View Report to open the Fragmentation Analysis Report.
This window shows a list of fragmented files and allows you to defragment selected files on demand. You can also schedule selected files to be defragmented at boot-time (the next time your start or restart your computer).
Filter Results
To filter results, click Filter to open the Filter Analysis Report. This window lets you control how many, and which, fragmented files the report displays. By default, the 30 most fragmented files display. You can select from one of the following options:
Display top [x] most fragmented file(s). Shows the most fragmented files. You can enter from 1 to 200.
Display top [x] largest file(s). Shows the largest files. You can enter from 1 to 200.
Display all fragmented files. Shows all of the fragmented files. With this option, it may take a long time to refresh the list.
Make selections
You can designate the files you want to work with in one of several ways:
Click on the one or more rows to select them. You can select multiple files as you normally do in Windows, using the CTRL and SHIFT keys.
Select the one or more check boxes
next to each item.Make one of the following selections from the Select menu:
Check all. Selects all check boxes.
Select all. Selects all rows.
Invert selection. Where a row is selected , this option clears them; and where a row is not selected, this option selects them.
Invert checked states. Where a check box
is selected,
this option clears them; and where a check box is cleared, this option
selects them.
Defragment on demand
You can defragment designated files on demand. With the desired items selected or checked, click one of the following options from the Defragment menu:
Checked. Defragments all checked
files.Selected. Defragments all selected files.
All. Defragments all files.
Schedule boot-time defragmentation
Note: Boot-time defragmentation is only available
for computers running Windows 2000, Windows XP, or Windows Vista.
You can schedule designated files to be defragmented at boot-time. With the desired items selected or checked, click Defragment, then Boot-Time Defragmentation, and then select one the below submenu options:
Schedule selected. Schedules all selected files for boot-time defragmentation.
Schedule checked. Schedules all checked
files for boot-time
defragmentation.Schedule All. Schedules files displayed on the window for boot-time defragmentation.
The files will be defragmented at boot-time once, the next time you start or restart your computer.
Note: If you want to schedule these files
to be defragmented every time you restart your computer, files designated
here will display on the Configure Boot-time
Defragmentation window, on either the Custom
List tab or the System
Files tab (depending on the type of file).
Cancel scheduled boot-time defragmentation
If you have scheduled any files for boot-time defragmentation, a Pending boot-time defragmentation tab will display. This tab allows to review the files you have scheduled for boot-time defragmentation and cancel the process if desired.
With the desired items selected or checked, click one of the below Cancel Pending menu options to cancel the boot-time defragmentation:
Cancel checked. Cancels all checked
files. Cancel selected. Cancels all selected files.
Cancel all. Cancels files displayed on the window.
The Fragmentation Analysis Report shows the files that were not defragmented, due to being locked or in use. The window allows you schedule these files to be defragmented at boot-time (the next time your start or restart your computer).

Fragmentation Analysis Report
The Fragmentation Analysis Report displays different results depending on where you access the report.
View prior to defragmentation
If you are viewing the report while viewing Custom options on the Advanced Defrag Options window, click here for instructions:
View after defragmentation
If you are viewing the report after completing a defragmentation, click here for instructions:
Close report
Click the Close icon (X) at the top of the screen to close the report and return to the previous screen.
