Problem Task List Tab
Overview of the Options window
The Problem Task List tab of the Options window controls the display of hidden problems and Repair confirmation messages in the Problem Task List pane.
Problem Task List Alerts
The Problem Task List Alerts section shows the problems, if any, that you hid on the Problem Task List pane.
To change the settings for a hidden problem, click Change. The Hide Alerts window offers the following options:
Hide [X] alerts for 1 day. Hide problem for 1 day.
Hide [X] alerts for 3 days. Hide problem for 3 days.
Hide [X] alerts for 7 days. Hide problem for 7 days.
Do not show [X] alerts again. Hid problem permanently (Can still be changed from this tab).
Show [X] alerts (stop hiding). Display the problem in the Problem Task List.
Note: Hidden problems are
not included in System Mechanic's computations of system
status.
Repair Options
By default, System Mechanic displays a confirmation message when you click Repair selected problems or Repair this problem.
Tor turn of these messages, clear the Prompt me before repairing problems on the Problem Task List check box.
Note: You can turn off these messages by
selecting the "Do not show this prompt again" check box on the
message.
