Defragment local registry
- On the File menu, click Defragment.
- Click OK.
- In the Defragment dialog, select the registry hives you want to defragment.
- Click OK.
How it work?
Registry defragmentation works by recreating each registry hive. To defragment local registry, the program backup the full registry and then restore the backup. You do not need to defragment registry after you have restored a registry backup.
