Manage Startup

You can use RegCure to select which applications are launched when starting your computer. This functionality is similar to that of the Windows System Configuration Utility. With the RegCure Manage Startup tool you can improve the startup speed by choosing only the items you want to launch when you start your computer. A list is displayed of the programs that are launched when starting your computer.

Recommendation: We recommend that you use caution when re-configuring the startup entries. As a precaution, you can disable an item and see how the change will affect the functioning of your computer.

To disable a program:

1. Select an item in the list that is listed as enabled.
2. Click the Disable Selected button.

To disable all programs:

Click the Disable All button.

To enable a program:

1. Select an item in the list that is listed as disabled.
2. Click the Enable Selected button.

To enable all the programs:

Click the Enable All button.

Remove Startup Items

You can remove items from the startup list so that they will be disabled from running at startup and will no longer appear in the Startup list.

Warning: Once you remove an item from the list you cannot re-enter it. Only use this if you are sure removing the item will not negatively affect your computer.

To remove a program:

1. Select an item in the list.
2. Click the Remove Selected button.
