Max Registry Cleaner 6.0.0.032 Online Manual

Start Max Registry Cleaner by clicking the Start button at the bottom left of your Windows desktop. Select Programs and click on the "Max Registry Cleaner" option in the list that is presented. Alternatively, you may wish to start Max Registry Cleaner by double-clicking on a short cut on your Windows Desktop.

First, the Tips window opens with a "Tip of the Day". Every time you open Max Registry Cleaner, a new tip will be displayed with useful information on Max Registry Cleaner. You can choose to read more than one tip by clicking on the "Next tip" button. If you don´t wish to view the Tips window every time you start Max Registry Cleaner, simply uncheck the checkbox before the "Show tips at startup" text.

When you are done with the Tips window, click on Continue to open Max Registry Cleaner.

The main window of Max Registry Cleaner will open along with the "Scan Window" on top of it. There are two buttons on the Scan Window – Full Scan and Custom Scan. Click on either button to start scanning your system for invalid entries.

Full Scan: Max Registry Cleaner will do exhaustive registry scan for the best optimization results. Under full scan all the Options except Cookie and URL History are scanned.

Custom Scan: Allows you to choose the Options from Scan Options window for scanning.
The Scan Options window lets you select the different sections of the Registry that you want to scan. Click on any checkbox before a row in the Options window to select that area  for scanning. You can alternatively click on the "Select All" checkbox to select all the options presented. After selecting your scan options, click the Scan button to start the scan.

After the scan is complete, if your copy of Max Registry Cleaner is registered, a message box will open and ask you if you want to delete any invalid entries detected during the scan, or not. If you want to delete them, click on the Delete button. If you don't want to delete the entries at this time, just click on the Cancel button.

The invalid registry entries detected in the scan are listed on the main screen of Max Registry Cleaner.

If you want to delete a specific entry, just select that entry and click on the Delete button on the main window. That entry will be marked as deleted. To recover (or permanently delete) any such previously deleted entries, just click on the Recover button.

Note: You can delete any invalid entries found during a scan only if you have registered your copy of Max Registry Cleaner. If you have not registered, a screen similar to the one below will be displayed. You may use the Continue button and follow the subsequent instructions to register your copy.
