Max Registry Cleaner automatically
creates a backup of the entries it changes in the Windows Registry. These
backups allow you to undo any of these changes.
To access Max Registry Cleaner's Backup function, click the Options
button on the main screen. Then click on Backup tab.
You will see a list of backup files. Each file has a creation date that
specifies exactly when the backup was taken automatically.

To restore a registry backup complete the following steps:
On the Backup window, select the Automatic Backup file and click on Open
button. The selected Backup file will open.

Now you can restore all the entries by checking "Select All" option provided at
left bottom corner of the screen. You can also restore selective entries by
checking appropriate entries. Changes implemented in the recover event which
created the selected backup are reverted back to their original state. Click
the Cancel button to return to the Restore registry backup screen without
restoring any individual items.

To delete a Registry backup, complete the following steps:
On the Backup screen, select the check box next to the appropriate
registry backup in the list. Click the Delete button, and the selected
registry backup is deleted. If you do not wish to restore or delete
any further backups, click the Cancel button. This closes the Backup
screen and returns you to the main screen. |
Note:
Restoring a Registry backup is not the same as restoring a Windows System
Restore Point. Windows System Restore Points can be restored via the standard
Windows procedure.
