What to do if protection is not running |
If problems or errors arise in the performance of any protection component, be sure to check its status.
If a component status is not running or running (subsystem malfunction) , try restarting the component or Kaspersky Anti-Virus.
If the component status is not running or running (subsystem malfunction) , try restarting Kaspersky Anti-Virus.
If the problem is not solved by restarting the program, you are advised to correct possible errors with the help of program restoration utility (Start → Programs → Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0 → Modify, Repair or Remove).
If the problem is not solved by repairing the program, you are advised to contact Kaspersky Lab Technical Support Service. Please save a report about the component’s performance and send it to Kaspersky Lab beforehand, to help our Technical Support specialists understand the problem in depth.
To save a report regarding a single component to a file ,
- Select component under Protection in the application main window and click on Open <component name> Report (component currently running) or Open Last <component name> Start Report (component disabled).
- In the report window, click Actions → Save as and in the window that opens, specify the name of the file in which the report will be saved.
