The Home tab is the welcome screen to the Advanced Registry Optimizer
application. As this is the first screen it has links to all the sections of the
program. Scan Registry, Optimize Registry, Backup Registry and Settings are
displayed in tabular interface, and on selecting any of these tab will make
it the active screen.
Alternatively, you can opt to click on the button One Click Optimization-
to scan, fix and optimize Registry in one go, or work separately by first
scanning the Registry and then optimizing it.
Actions that can be performed from the Home page includes:

One Click Optimization
Advanced Registry Optimizer comes with a advanced registry cleaning and
optimization mechanism. When you click on the 'One Click Optimization' button
the program performs following tasks:

Takes complete Registry backup so that it can be restored in case of system
failure or when you find it necessary.

Scans for
error in the Registry as per the scan areas specified.

Removes the
invalid Registry entries found in the scan process.

Finally,
optimize and compact the size of registry.
Scan and Fix Registry Now
Click this option to start the scanning process by activating the Scan Registry
screen. This section cleans-up and streamlines your Registry by finding and
removing the invalid data references. On clicking the 'Scan and Fix Registry
Now' button the tasks performed are:

Scans for
error in the Registry as per the scan areas specified.

Takes partial backup of the Registry i.e. backs up Registry areas which are
brought under error list.

Removes the
invalid Registry entries found in the scan process.
Optimize Registry Now
A more linear Registry structure maximizing application response time and
Registry access time can be obtained.
System Summary
It further has a section System Summary that highlights on scanning,
optimization and backup operations performed on your system. The options given
with System Summary section is as below:
Last Registry Scan: Shows the date and time
of last Registry scan performed on your system.
Last Registry Backup: Shows the date and
time of last Registry backup taken on your system maybe either complete or
partial backup.
Last Registry Optimized: Shows the date and
time when Registry was last optimized on your system.
