Advanced Registry Fix Online Manual

The Advanced Registry Fix can scan your registry in two ways.

• Intelligent Quick Scan
  

• Full System Scan
  

Intelligent Quick Scan:Intelligent Quick Scan is the scanning process done by the Advanced Registry Fix according to the user preferences.To perform the custom scanning on your system, just go through the following steps.

• Check Intelligent Quick Scan option on the Scan Window of the Advanced Registry Fix.
  
• Check all those locations that you want to scan on the Scan Window of the Advanced Registry Fix.
  
• Now click on the Run Scan Now button on the Scan Window.

Full System Scan: Full System Scan performs a deep search of the windows registry with(out) user preferences.To start Full System Scanning on your system, just go through the following steps.

• Check Full System Scan option on the Scan Window of the Advanced Registry Fix.
  
• Now click on the Run Scan Now button on the Scan Window.

The Advanced Registry Fix will start scanning the registry as a whole.

Note:By default Intelligent Quick Scan is selected. If you want to save these Scan Options, check Save these Options.If you want to Create Restore Point before the scan, check Create Restore Point option.

Scan Window:

The Advanced Registry Fix Scan Window is displayed as shown below.

Click on Run Scan Now button will take to the Scanning Window. Click on Back to Start button will take back to the Main Status Window.

Scanning Window:

The Advanced Registry Fix Scanning Window is displayed as shown below.

In this window you can see the section and reference being scanned by the Advanced Registry Fix along with the number of references scanned and the number of missed references found. To Stop or Terminate the scanning process, click on the Stop button (or) select File -> Exit menu item (or) title bar Close(X) button. After the scanning process is completed, click on Continue button will take to the Results Window if any missed references are found otherwise it will take to the Scan Summary Window.

Scan Summary Window:

The Advanced Registry Fix Scan Summary Window is displayed as shown below.

This window summarizes the scan with the total number of missed references found, ingored and repaired. Click on Continue button will take back to the Main Status Window.

Results Window:

The Advanced Registry Fix Results Window is displayed as shown below.

This window will list the scanning result in a categorized way, i.e. the missed references found in each section are displayed on the left hand side and the location of reference is displayed in the right hand side along with the severity. Click on Back to Start button will take back to the Main Status Window. Click on Repair button will take to the Fixing Window where the checked missed references are fixed/repaired.

Fixing Window:

The Advanced Registry Fix Fixing Window is displayed as shown below.

To Stop or Terminate the fixing process, click on the Stop button (or) select File -> Exit menu item (or) title bar Close(X) button. After the fixing process is completed, click on Continue button will take to the Fix Summary Window.

Fix Summary Window:

The Advanced Registry Fix Fix Summary Window is displayed as shown below.

This window summarizes the fix with the total number of missed references found, ingored and repaired. Click on Continue button will take to the Registry Snapshot Window.

Snapshot Window:

The Advanced Registry Fix Snapshot Window is displayed as shown below.

This window snapshot the registry with the total number of correct and missed references, before and after fixing the registry. Click on Back to Start button will take to the Advanced Registry Fix Main Status Window. Click on Schedule button will take to the Advanced Registry Fix Schedule Window.
