How to Remote install Spyware Doctor Enterprise Client through the Console?

The most convenient method of installing the Spyware Doctor Enterprise Client application onto multiple client computers is to do so remotely via the Spyware Doctor Enterprise Console. To do this, you must have active Spyware Doctor Enterprise Full or Evaluation Licenses available and client computers on the network must be registered to the current Enterprise Server. See Adding Spyware Doctor Enterprise Licenses and Registering client computers on the network for details on these procedures.

The following describes the procedure for a remote installation of Spyware Doctor Enterprise Client on a single computer. See below for procedures on installing Spyware Doctor Enterprise Client remotely on multiple computers.

To install Spyware Doctor Enterprise Client remotely on a single client computer:

1. Using the navigation pane, select the group containing the computer on which to install Spyware Doctor Enterprise Client.
2. On the right pane, right-click the computer and select Spyware Doctor Enterprise -> Install from the menu as shown.
   
   
3. A confirmation message may display, listing the computers on which Spyware Doctor Enterprise Client is to be installed. Click Yes to continue with the installation or No to return to the Console. Select Don't show this dialog again before clicking Yes or No to prevent confirmation messages displaying after executing client computer commands in future.
4. Upon confirming the installation, the installation action details are displayed in Server Commands -> Active. When the installation action is complete, these details are moved to the Server Commands -> Completed area as a log entry which can be subsequently saved or cleared.
   
   After a successful installation of Spyware Doctor Enterprise Client, the client computer requests the Enterprise Server for a Smart Update. Any Smart Update components on the server which are different from those on the client are automatically sent to the client computer during the Smart Update process.

To install Spyware Doctor Enterprise Client remotely on multiple client computers within a group:

1. Using the navigation pane, select the group containing the computers on which to install Spyware Doctor Enterprise Client.
2. On the right pane, use the 'Ctrl', 'Shift' or mouse multiple selection functions to select the client computers on which to conduct a remote installation of the Spyware Doctor Enterprise Client application. Right-click a selected computer and select Spyware Doctor Enterprise -> Install from the menu.
3. Continue from step 3 (above).

To install Spyware Doctor Enterprise Client remotely on all client computers within a group:

1. Using the navigation pane, right-click on the group containing the computers on which to install Spyware Doctor Enterprise Client and select Spyware Doctor Enterprise -> Install from the menu.
2. Continue from step 3 (above).
