When connecting the Nokia phone
to PC, many Nokia phone users find the system could search for drivers and then it says MTP Device driver install failed, re-pulg the USB cable, but it still can't work and the PC can't recognize the phone.
Fast Way to Fix Nokia MTP Device Driver Failed:
If you can, install the latest Nokia Ovi Suite
or Nokia PC Suite first online or from the attached disk, it is used to install all the drivers and then keep on installing the MTP device driver! Please choose the right download for that operating system and that phone, different phone models come with different USB connectivity cables
, thus the built-in cable driver is specical.
Then restart your PC, make sure your Nokia phone is in its music player so it cant be shut/if you have tried this and it shows no music, refresh and restart the usb connection.
If this still can't work, to download the MTP Device Driver and do some things as below:
Download MTP Device Driver from Windows Updates:
Then right click My Computer, click Manage, then select Device Manager and select the
MTP device that is still unknown. right click it, select update driver and allow it to
automatically scan for the drivers.
