Orbit Xplorer

An easy to use educational program at high school and college physics and astronomy level. Use it to experiment with, visualize and demonstrate orbits of celestial bodies and compare answers to school problems with "reality". Also great for physics and astronomy projects. Set the parameters of up to 10 stars, planets, satellites etc. and watch their orbits evolve governed by the law of gravitation. Time, distance, velocity, acceleration and energy plus velocity and acceleration vectors may be monitored. Uses actual pictures of the planets. You can interactively create, run, save and print your own simulation or open one of the 29 pre-made simulations. Each simulation includes elementary to advanced on-screen activities and exercises.
