Compared with Firefox 2. The new version of Firefox has made much more improvements than previous version. The new version is based on a new version of their Gecko code platform and it fixes over 11,000 issues with more than 2 million code changes from Firefox 2. Version 3 offers a whole new level of stability and security for Firefox because of the newly written code. Special attention has been paid to a few specific issues, such as the memory usage issues that have plagued all previous versions of Firefox.

My favorite improvements in Firefox 3

If you access a secure website, Firefox will auto remind you in address bar with green tab.

Editor's Reminders: The only blemish I meet is that Firefox could not remember your login status in previous website after update, you need to login again. For example, I have login Gmail when updating Firefox, and after updating, I have to re-login my Google account. However, that doesn't matter. Just a bagatelle.

According to my Firefox experience, there are still a few of deficiency that Firefox 3 doesn't resolve. that is higher memory usage In my testing, Firefox 3 will usually takes 97148 KB memory, that is much higher than IE 7.0.
