Why choose VLC Media Player
For Mac OS (or Linux) users, what's the most pain of owning a Mac? Probably their answer is many programs cannot be used on it. There are many programs designed for Windows users, a portion of famous tools provide Mac (Linux) version yet the phenomenon isn't common yet.
Thanks to VLC Media Player and its publisher, there are assorted operating systems for different users to try this program - not only Windows, Mac, and Linux, but also other various ones.
This tool, sometimes most users call it an alternative to Windows Media Player, is easier to operate because of its simple navigation bar.

Aren't you tired of "answer" if you would like to set a certain player as the default one? Some famous player would keep asking you if you don't set them, which isn't smart to users. As a considerate and smart tool, this player doesn't inquire users such questions, thus you won't be bothered.
The most convenience of this tool, I presume, is the codec it contains: MP4, FLAC and Raw DV are covered in this tool and you won't be asked to install them to support.
This player supports lots of media formats, including the standard formats such as MP3, MPEG, DivX and AVI; many of the individual formats such as RealVideo, WMA, WMV and QuickTime; and quite a few incredible formats such as Ascii art. Thus, it can be described as a one - way solution to multi media formats.
Pros:
This one supports almost all popular video and audio formats; It provides users a quick way to read multi media files. You can use it as a server to stream in unicast or multicast in IPv4 or IPv6 on a high - bandwidth network as well.
Cons:
The interface is not a user - friendly one for beginners to operate; there is something wrong when I minimized it - it didn't startup when I wanted to see the whole interface.
Setup
To install this tool is very easy, just follow the prompts and the whole steps will be finished no more than 5 seconds. It's been tested there is no any malicious wares; therefore you could install it without worry.
Should you decide to remove this tool, unfortunately, there isn't a shortcut to uninstall. Launch "Control Panel" and select it, then delete.

Interface:
The default skin is not very fashionable - very simple; while some users do not like it due to its unfriendly skin. Actually, the selectable skin of it would not be the unfriendly one, not the default. You can try it and see the differences between them.
System Requirements
It runs on various operating systems, the main three ones (Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux) and other different OS. It's the most considerate tool for different OS users to try, isn't it?
The RAM requires at least 256MB and it's no difficult at all to meet. It takes up 32.71MB after installation - a medium size one.
Conclusion
Before trying, I wasn't astonished at this DVD player, for there are many DVD Players and one of my favorites is RealPlayer. Yet the one is an elegant tool to try - its considerate design, simple operations with one - stop solution to file formats' problems, would satisfy beginners' needs to a large extent.
