Setup Video Capture

"Capture frames per second"
This is the frame rate that CAM Wizard will use throughout all of its video operations. A setting of 20 is plenty fast enough for smooth playback.

"Minimum capture length"
specifies the shortest time that a captured video can be, so if this is set to 10, then even if motion only happens for say 2 seconds, then a 10 second movie will be created.

"Maximum capture length"
specifies the longest time that a captured video can be. If motion is still detected after this time then another movie file is started right away whilst the previous movie gets archived/emailed as necessary. This feature has been added so that if constan motion happens in the scene, emails will be sent off periodically rather than having to wait until the motion has finished. ]

" Movie Capture"
Tick the box to allow CAM Wizard to permanently archive any captured motion as a movie file. CAM Wizard can employ various encoder profiles to create the movie files, below you will see a table containing information about all the encoders available:

"JPEG Stills Capture"
When ticked, a folder full of JPEGs gets created in the"capture folder. This can produce very high quality results if visual information is VERY important. The quality is higher than the WMV movies, but it does consume quite a large amount of storage space when compared to WMV. The higher you set the "image quality" the more storage space each JPEG will require. Feel free to experiment and see for yourself.

"View after snap button"
When ticked, any quick JPEG snap, invoked by the main window mini button, will be immediately displayed using your systems current default file viewer for the JPEG file type.

NOTE: All movies and JPEGs will be stored to the disk path as specified in the disk management setup panel.
